Habitat: In a wide range of habitats, including mesic to dry forests, dry rocky woodlands, floodplain forests, alluvial swamps, tidal swamps, seepage swamps, wet flatwoods, depression ponds and swamps, bogs, rocky or sandy scour bars, and clearings. Common throughout Virginia
